Ich habe mich bei barackobama.com vor einer Woche angemeldet. Weil ich wollte, dass Barack mit über seine Wahl des running mates informiert. Hat er dann auch gemacht. Doch seitdem vergeht kein Tag, an dem ich keine Nachricht von Barack bekomme. Oder von Joe. Oder irgendwelchen Mitarbeitern aus dem Obama-Team.

Mal informiert mich Barack über seine Begeisterung für seine Frau.

Heute Mittag wiederum hat mir dann Joe erzählt, dass er und Barack nun die offiziellen Papiere unterzeichnet haben und das es nun ernst wird – natürlich nicht, ohne mir wiederum den Spendenlink unterzujubeln. Keine Frage, dieser Wahlkampf ist wegen der perfekten Iszenierung verdammt kostspielig. Und ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen, dass die Masche, die das Wahlkampfteam da mit all diesen Mails an den Tag legt, funktioniert.

Bewegende Momente werden mir näher erläutert, die Rede von Michelle kann ich mir auch nochmal auf der Webseite anschauen, Hillary wird erwähnt, ohne zu sehr im Mittelpunkt zu stehen – alles perfekt. Und immer eine persönliche und extrem emotionale Ansprache.

Ich bin froh, dass Hubertus Heil bisher nur twittert. Denn Mails in diesem Stil könnte ich nur schwer ertragen.
